Gacha systems can feel louder than the rest of NTE. This overview keeps the vocabulary simple so you can decide if and when to pull, not whether you “failed” by waiting.
Banners in one breath
Limited banners spotlight specific characters for a set window. Standard banners rotate wider pools. Neither one is required to enjoy story chapters or City Tycoon.
Soft pity and hard pity
Games often raise your odds quietly as pulls add up (soft pity), then guarantee a high rarity after a long dry spell (hard pity). Exact numbers change with patches—check in-game details or official notes rather than trusting outdated charts.
A cozy approach
- Pull for characters you like aesthetically, not because a list called them mandatory.
- Keep a small emergency currency stash for characters you know you want.
- Remember Chiz and story rewards cover a lot of ground without touching banners.
Spending is optional comfort. Waiting is a valid strategy.
